Choose your device

On Apple TV, navigate with the remote and select the visible controls. On iPhone and iPad, tap the controls and enter text with the keyboard.

Each device keeps its own content and settings. The iPhone and iPad apps edit and display information on that device; they do not remotely control the Apple TV app or synchronize content between devices.

Menu Board

Select Edit menu to change the business or menu title, items, prices, layout and currency. Choose Done to return to the board. Items without a name are left off the display.

The first five named rows are included. Purchase and Restore purchase controls are in Edit menu. A grouped board with more than three sections has page arrows.

Guestlight

On the first screen, choose Set up your stay. Enter a property name and welcome line, then add Wi-Fi, checkout information and house notes. After setup, use Set up to make changes.

Use the visible arrows to change cards and the pause/play control to stop or resume rotation. On Apple TV, the remote's Play/Pause button also controls rotation. On iPhone and iPad, tap the controls.

A Wi-Fi network name is needed before a QR code appears. Guests scan that displayed code using another device. The first three available information cards are included; purchase and restore are available in setup.

Stage Timer

Choose Session to open Session settings. Pick a preset duration or change Warning sound. The timer screen has Start/Pause, + 1 min and Reset controls. Use the remote on Apple TV, or tap on iPhone and iPad.

The standard presets are included. Custom warning and critical thresholds require the optional full-version purchase in Session settings. Restore purchase is available there too.

Picture Timer

Choose Choose to open the routine picker. Brush Teeth, Tidy Up and Homework are included. Use Start/Pause on the timer and the circular-arrow Start over control to restart.

Sound, custom routine entry, purchase and restore are in the routine picker. Custom routine names and durations require the optional full version.

Couch Scoreboard

Start with the two participants in setup. To remove a participant, use the minus-in-a-circle control on their setup card. Add names when a player slot is available. Choose Start game to begin.

On Apple TV, move focus to a player’s +1 or −1 button and press Select to add or remove a point. Play/Pause pauses or resumes the game. When paused, each player has a named Reset button. The Back/Menu button returns to the Home screen.

On iPhone and iPad, use each player's + and − controls to change their score. When paused, use the named Reset button for the player you want to reset. These game controls change points; the minus control in setup removes a participant.

Finish game asks for confirmation before displaying the summary. Choose New game from the summary to return to setup.

Open Options & full version in setup for Game sounds, purchase and restore. Two players are included; the optional full version supports up to eight.

If Guestlight says its Wi-Fi password is missing, re-enter the password in Set up. The QR code stays hidden until the details are complete. For an open network, turn off Network needs a password explicitly.

Purchases and restoration

I already bought the full version.

Open the purchase controls described above and choose Restore purchase. Use the Apple Account that made the original purchase. Restoration contacts the App Store.

The App Store could not be reached.

The included features remain available. Check the device's connection, then choose Try again in the purchase panel. The purchase button appears when a price is available from the App Store.

I need a refund.

Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy and device settings

Open Privacy & support from the app's settings or options screen. On iPhone and iPad, tap the website links. On Apple TV, scan the code with a phone or use the displayed web address.

If the display sleeps, check the device's auto-lock or screen saver settings. A paused session may allow the device to sleep.

The apps save content locally and do not use advertising or analytics services. Purchases and restoration communicate with Apple through StoreKit. Read the privacy policy for storage and deletion details, including Guestlight's saved Wi-Fi password.
